Introducing Own‑It: a rigorous, evidence‑informed journey to reclaim agency, practice responsibility, and live with integrity.
Own‑It is not a shortcut or a slogan. It’s disciplined, deliberate practice grounded in behavioral science—habits and implementation intentions, self‑regulation and emotion skills, values clarification, and consistent feedback loops. You’ll strengthen your internal locus of control, improve decision‑making under stress, and translate intentions into measurable daily actions. The aim is simple and profound: align what you do with what you truly value—living, in the simplest daily ways, in alignment with God and your core values.
What you’ll practice
- Habit architecture: cue design, friction management, habit stacking, and WOOP/if‑then planning
- Cognitive and emotional skills: reframing, attentional control, grounding, and reflective journaling
- Values into behavior: clarifying non‑negotiables and tracking actions that express them
- Data‑guided change: small experiments, weekly metrics, and review cycles
About the facilitator
- Monika Bar — psychologist, therapist, and PhD student in quantum psychology at UOT, India
- Monika integrates insights from quantum psychology with established behavioral and clinical methods, exploring how attention, meaning‑making, and the “observer” perspective shape subjective experience and choice. While quantum psychology is an evolving field, we use these lenses thoughtfully, alongside evidence‑based practices, to deepen self‑awareness and intentional action.
